Last time I paid attention to the luxury tax, it was theoretically redistributed to smaller payroll teams to help them compete with the big surrenders, wasn't it? Not that it's done the AL Central a lick of good, really.
I would like tickets to my major league team to be about the same cost as my minor league team closer by. Because of I have to choose between the two, it's much easier and less expensive to see the minor leaguers than to make the trip into the metropolitan stadium.
