Thanks everybody for coming along for the ride on a couple of long, heavy entries the last couple of days. Let's have just a teeny vignette today:
After we'd eaten dinner (takeaway pizza and a milkshake for me), Gary was hinting -- if you can call anything so unsubtle a hint -- for a walk and eventually ended up despairing of his humans because we were apparently ignoring him. There's no way to explain that we were just waiting for the TV show episode to finish in a minute.
He'd just settled on a toy to play tug-of-war and fetch with when he was offered a walk. And as I saw him with it, I realized I've seen him resort to a toy other times when he gives up on getting a walk. Now I understand this as presumably being like the dog equivalent of my lockdown YouTube exercises and yoga instead of going to the gym.
