Sometimes it's better to light a flamethrower than curse the darkness

I wrote most of a big complicated entry that's actually About Something but then I got distracted and moved furniture and helped make dinner (All three of us made dinner, a rare thing so it's nice. Dinner included a big salad with cos lettuce, cress, green onions, carrots, peppers, toasted pumpkin seeds (from a pumpkin I made soup out of weeks ago!), home-made vinaigrette, and pomegranate seeds. It was so tasty.) and then there was the livestream of the IRL Doof party so we had beer -- a nice milk stout and a terrible chocolate banana stout, and now some adequate whisky -- and now it's definitely bedtime.
