[152/365] trousers!
Jun. 1st, 2022 08:39 pmL interrupted me part way through a story at work to say "Erik, did you know there's a hole in the bottom of your pocket and your phone is trying to fall through it."
I did not. I had to try to keep my phone in the pocket on the other side, which was difficult and not entirely successful!

mother_bones just found a pair the other day that had been in the mending pile for a long time; she fixed a pocket there too and mended a seam, and when I tried them on I saw the elastic on the waistband had gone to such an extent that they don't stay up. She said she can replace that too but those trousers are nearly dead as well.
My new trousers for work showed up today andmosther_bones's kind help led to a misunderstanding, she bought me women's trousers which don't suit the measurements I gave her, so they're a little too big and they also have terrible or non-existent pockets. They're not worth sending back (and I didn't notice some of the problems until I took the tags off), but they just add to my general frustration at the need to have clothes on the bottom half of my body right now; everything seems hostile.
