Sometimes it's better to light a flamethrower than curse the darkness

L wanted to go to Levy Market so I had to go to work today to help him do that. It was his first non-essential trip in pandemic times and while I have had a handful of them myself it's always more work doing anything for work that I normally do myself.

And then I got back with only time enough for a quick failed attempt at napping before our last evening playing host to diffrentcolours's mum and her partner, which involved humoring them when they wanted Mexican food and beer. So now I'm full of quesadilla and Corona (not corona, importantly) and I'm so tired I have to go to bed.

Tomorrow is my only day off on this alleged long weekend, and I might have even made plans for it so here's hoping I get good sleep now.
